Together we can make a difference and change lives
Together we can make a difference and change lives
As an owner and purveyor of arts and furniture for David Alan Collection, I call Ubud, Bali my second home for the past 19 years. My roots in Bali are deep, and I have developed a great compassion for the people and their communities. During the Covid pandemic, Bali experienced tight lockdowns and businesses suffered. Many people, especially large families and elderlies were the hardest hit.
Our mission for the Bali Food Project is to deliver food and care packages to the needy in communities that were hit the hardest by the pandemic.
David and Amita Bardwick are owners of the David Alan Collection in Solana Beach, California and founders of Ignite, a non-profit foundation to make a difference and transform lives in communities they care deeply for. In 2003, Amita established a Montessori school in an impoverished community in East Delhi, India. Today the school is growing and serving more students. They devoted a corner of their store to support the school.
In 2021 during the pandemic, David started a project to deliver food and care packages to the needy people in remote areas of Bali, as a way to give back to a community that has given him so much.
We would be grateful and honored to have your contribution, either by taking on one set of 100 care packages, or by giving whatever you can so this work can continue. It is a rare opportunity to be able to affect directly so many lives.
Thank you for your support.
